xtina’s complusions to obsessively knit

Update and a Finished Object August 19, 2007

Hello again-long time, no post.

I am happy to report that my brother is doing better; he is in a lot of pain and he has a long road to recovery but he is doing well and has a good attitude.

He has been at Spaulding Rehab for a week and he’ll be there for at least another 5 weeks. I’ve been there 4 times this week, my parents are there everyday and he always has plenty of visitors.

Here he and I are this afternoon out on the patio over looking the Charles River:

J and Sissy

On a knitting note: I finally finished Bonnie for Gianna and gave it to her today.

The pattern calls for Berroco Love It but I opted to use Classic Elite Four Seasons Cotton because I couldn’t find Love It solid colors that I liked at my LYS.

Other than that, I only made two modifications; I left off the bows on the shoulder straps and I added this cute little ducky:

I have some progress on the blanket for my boss’ baby shower but I will picture that next time.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

    Thanks Cass!

I’m actually on my way to see him now (and I even brought my knitting!) 🙂

I am glad to see Winnie has been there for support… and that camera hog (or dog) even got in this picture!
