My mom originally taught me to knit when I was about 5. I made a few headbands and a purse and then I put down my needles for 17 years. The night I graduated from college I asked my mom to teach me again.
Since then knitting has been my obsession. Sometimes I think the infatuation is unhealthy, and then I think, nah.
